Naturism is at its best when it feels relaxed, respectful, and refreshingly ordinary. We’re a non-landed social club, with no club-owned grounds or facilities, where adults can meet good people, spend time outdoors, and enjoy a body-neutral environment. Based in northern New Jersey, we’re building a community that keeps going past the end of the outdoor season, with cool- and cold-season gatherings through the fall and winter — and we welcome members from nearby southern New York and northeastern Pennsylvania.

Our club culture will reflect the American Association for Nude Recreation’s published code and values: body acceptance, inclusive community, personal privacy, respectful conduct, and nonsexual social nudity.

The heart of the club will be member-hosted, clothing-optional gatherings in private homes: potluck dinners, game or movie nights, trivia, conversation, and whatever else feels easy and welcoming to begin with. We’ll always be looking for other opportunities too, unclothed or clothed if need be—from movies, pub crawls, and dinner out to naturist resorts, beaches, and camping trips. Our first plan is a cool-season calendar: indoor fall and winter socials that carry the community past the end of the outdoor season.

Is this a dating group?
No. This is a social naturist community centered on respectful connection, shared experiences, and time together.
Can I join on my own?
Yes. The community welcomes couples and singles alike, as long as everyone is 21 or older and aligned with the club’s respectful approach.
Where will gatherings happen?
Primarily in members’ homes in northern New Jersey, beginning with clothing-optional potlucks, game or movie nights, trivia, and easy conversation. We also welcome members from nearby southern New York and northeastern Pennsylvania. We’ll keep looking for other opportunities—unclothed or clothed if need be—and share locations and practical details directly with interested members as plans are confirmed.
Do I need naturist experience?
No previous club experience is required. Curiosity, maturity, and respect for other people’s boundaries matter most.
Do I need to be an AANR member?
No. AANR membership is recommended because it supports naturist advocacy and connects members with the wider community, but it is not required to join NJ Naturists.
Why 21 and over?
Because alcohol may be served at some gatherings, NJ Naturists is for adults 21 and over only.
